Elektrownia Powiśle is a mixed-use revitalisation project for the historic buildings of the Powiśle heat and power station. Work began in 2008, and the project's path was almost as complicated as the fate of this legendary place. The investment is located in the city center of Warsaw, in the immediate vicinity of the metro, train station and the main communication arteries and tourist routes (Old Town, Nowy Świat & Krakowskie Przedmieście Streets and Vistula Boulevards). The Copernicus Science Center, University of Warsaw and Academy of Fine Arts are also located nearby.
Along with two changes of the owner, the project itself also evolved. The goal of creating a space for people with respect to historic buildings and original urban assumptions remained unchanged. The investment is located in an area under the strict care of the monument conservator. Elektrownia Powiśle offers the highest quality of retail (over 70 unique stores, beauty hall, and many restaurants incl. food hall), event, office, residential (for rent only) and hotel (Barcelo) space.
We carefully took care of the industrial character of the project and the highest comfort of its residents and office workers. The apartments are quiet, and the people living in them have convenient access to the garage and the retail & lifestyle part of the investment.
The buildings are BREEAM certified.
