The project involved the renovation of the interior 6-storey atrium, which is the base of the high-rise office building, the Warsaw Trade Tower, built in the late 1990s.
The interior public space needed to adapt to the new requirements of tenants, and incorporate an aesthetic upgrade towards new design trends inspired by nature and ecology. Natural wood and granite materials were introduced, replacing th uniform black and gray color. Flower pots with trees were also added. Using the existing contoured semicircular balconies and mezzanine, a strong white ribbon accent was added, meandering through 5 storeys. A new variety of seats were added, conducive to private conversations, as well as the introduction of the podium with the piano. This helped the tall glass atrium gain a sense of coziness and intimacy. These newly created spaces help to integrate users in order to promote healthy and active conversations.
