The Zajezdnia Motława project in Gdańsk, designed by APA Wojciechowski Architects for Euro Styl from the Dom Development Group, is being built adjacent to the Wyskok and Wilk bastions and the green areas along the Motława River. It is an ideal place to enjoy urban living while being close to green spaces and water. The second phase of this project will include the historic hall of the former tram depot, which will undergo revitalization.

The proximity of the green bastions, elements of the former city fortifications, and the picturesque, peaceful Motława River give the Zajezdnia Motława project a unique atmosphere. The district's historical context is emphasized by historic tenement houses and cobblestone streets. The new, elegant development will fit seamlessly into this setting, combining historic architecture with the natural riverside landscape. It is a unique place to live and relax – in the heart of Gdańsk, yet away from its everyday hustle and bustle.

The investment includes the historic tram depot hall, which will be revitalized in Phase II. Just in front of it, near Radna Street, a city square will be created – a new public space reflecting the site's history. The concept includes preserving the tram tracks in the floor, as well as incorporating small-scale architectural elements. It will feature green platforms imitating tram bases, which also serve as seating, and a distinctive arrangement of lamps strung on a grid between the overhead lines. Intimate, green courtyards have been designed between the buildings.

The proposed development is a contemporary interpretation of the historic layout of the Lower Town (Dolne Miasto). The building masses will fit into the quarter's frontage character, and their facades will be finished with natural brick laid in various patterns and textured plaster in warm shades of beige. Carefully considered details, individually selected for each plot, will be eye-catching: rustication, moldings, lamellas, inter-story strips with varying brick bonds, cornices, bay windows, lintels, and window trims. Balconies, loggias, and terraces have been designed with varied finishes, matching the color scheme of the facades.

The interior design of Zajezdnia Motława was inspired by the hallways of the Lower Town tenement houses. In the elegant lobbies, high-quality finishing materials create a timeless backdrop for carefully selected details. A harmonious color scheme in shades of beige, wood, and warm white, along with soft LED lighting, will add elegance. The spacious corridors will be decorated with graphics referencing the history of the Lower Town. Every element has been carefully considered – from the texture of the walls, through elegant moldings, mirrors, and balustrade details, to the designer amber lighting.

Located along the Motława River, Lower Town is one of the greenest parts of Gdańsk. The area of the former city fortifications (over 12 hectares) with access to the water is filled with natural vegetation. It's a pleasant environment for spending time, strolling, or practicing sports.

As part of the Public-Private Partnership project with the City of Gdańsk, Euro Styl is revitalizing over 5.5 hectares of land around the Wilk and Wyskok bastions and along the banks of the New Motława River. Some of the work has already been completed – an attractive boulevard with a pedestrian and bicycle path, greenery, water access, and viewing platforms has been created. New recreational spaces and landscaped greenery make the district even more welcoming and charming.

The Zajezdnia Motława project was designed in accordance with the priorities of sustainable urbanization – to minimize environmental impact and improve residents' quality of life. The investment meets the requirements of the Green Investment Card – an internal standard of the Dom Development Group, as evidenced by the carefully selected materials and energy-efficient solutions used.
